Mud Room & Porch

Homewood

We took out an outdoor deck to expand the inside space to create the mudroom which acts as a back entrance that friends and family use when they enter the home. From there, we added huge floor-to-ceiling cabinets so our clients would have a place to put their purses, shoes, keys, and other everyday things. This space is also where the family does laundry and stores their cleaning supplies, so this extra space allowed them to have more storage while being a functional laundry room.

The screened porch is an area where our clients can entertain. We left the natural wood on the walls and added big floor-to-ceiling screens, which brought a ton of light into the room. The tall ceilings make the space feel massive and make it the perfect place for our clients and their friends to watch football on a Saturday afternoon.
