The Preserve, Hoover

No one ever plans on having a house fire, but when you do, you lean on the professionals to help put your home back together. This newly retired / partially retired couple was truly displaced when tragedy struck. Lightning struck the chimney in a horrible storm and engulfed the chimney and upstairs living area. The upstairs living area was stripped down to the studs to see all the damage. The Upstairs bathrooms were also repaired and updated with new tile floors, countertops, tub, tile surrounds, plumbing and lighting fixtures. The living space on the main level was also stripped down while other areas were minimally affected. A portion of the roof, trusses and joists were either replaced or repaired throughout the process. New roofing, siding, and insulation were installed and pigmented shellac was sprayed in all affected areas. New brick was installed on the chimney as well as the new decorative cap. Incorporated with this project, upgraded sand and finish engineered flooring was installed as well as a custom bar area and updated primary bath. The bar area is complete with custom cabinets, Marble countertops and full height splash and decorative gold hardware. The primary bath shower area was redesigned, the existing tub area removed, and a custom storage pantry installed from floor to ceiling. The vanity countertops were also replaced with quartz and all new brushed brass plumbing and light fixtures were installed. The lighting was updated throughout the house to more reflect these homeowners taste as well.
