Jack & Jill Bathroom Renovation

Vestavia, AL

This bathroom was demoed down to the studs to provide blank canvas for the new space. While the function remains a Jack and Jill, the feel is more of a secondary master. New Walls were framed to create a luxurious shower and private water closet. White marble look porcelain was accompanied by upscale quartz to provide a bright backdrop and a neutral palette. The navy blue hexagon gives a pop of color in the shower while the polished nickel plumbing fixtures provide the element of elegance. The waterfall shower bench provides function as well as aesthetic appeal for the homeowner and guests. The stained cabinetry brings an element of warmth to her new retreat. Additional attic space was used to create a makeup vanity area complete with a beveled mirror, polished nickel pendant, and recessed niche with a frosted door to house the essentials. Because there is only one window in the bathroom which is now housed in the water closet, a frosted door was used to allow light to filter through. Visual Comfort lighting was used throughout in a polished nickel finish, including the sconces installed on top of the vanity mirror surrounded with detailed trim. The same trim was used as a chair rail in the water closet to complete the custom feel throughout. The floor tile was installed in a herringbone pattern which provides texture throughout.
